  1. Pick one of the common morals from the article. How do you see this as a value in your own culture?
Personally, I think reciprocating is an essential part of all the cultures that exist in the world. If we get international thoughts that are based on different cultures, we all know this part and see it as a basic thing. In general, it indeed generates tremendous value to people regardless of the situations are, because it raises the barrier of getting help from people. If this kind of common morality does not exist, there would be no trade-off if one tries to get help from others while they don’t need to give back anything. This is also related to fairness as people usually give the same value back. It plays a role in helping to help stabilize society and improve communication because without it, there would be some cases where a person helped one way to the other person, causing unfair consequences.

helping family, helping your group, reciprocating, being brave, deferring to superiors (respect), dividing disputed resources (fairness), and respecting prior possession (property rights).
