Develop an argument about how industrialization impacted society in the period 1750 to 1900.
Although industrialization reshaped society by weakening the nobles and benefiting the middle class the most, both in terms of legitimacy and economy, it also led to social anxiety, especially a fear of losing their wealth and falling to the chaotic laboring class. This caused a large number of people to try to dress and behave like the middle class.
Before 1750, most of the wealth and political power were controlled by nobles and aristocracies, and this hierarchy was constant until the Industrial Revolution. During the period from 1750 to 1900, the Industrial revolution had brought a huge shift between aristocracies and the middle classes, while nobles were losing their power and weath but the middle classes gained it from commercial practice, such as being a banker or a factory owner. At the same time, the middle class was just a constructed identity that could be emulated, gained, and lost through associated values. The flexibility between different classes is so high that changes might usually happen and affect their social status.
