Our topic is focusing on the lack of education of the social insurance system and commercial insurance of college students in China, who, for the first time in their life, suddenly got exposed to all of this matter. Social insurance systems and commercial insurance are some most important baseline guarantees of your public health. As a group, College students and people in their age usually lack the channel of getting this kind of information, which often results in running in some trouble, or falling into some trap. But what if they don’t have to learn it the hard way? What if they can just get access to this kind of information from day to day entertainment? Identify some specific topics we want to teach to university students the most, and how to teach them in a way that will catch their interest and make them stick with this. Brainstorm design solutions, discuss and select the most appropriate one. Create a prototype and start to do test runs in some universities. Meanwhile, our team also are actively trying to look for experts and people to interview. We have successfully been able to contact a couple experts and people in that industry. We have also put together a questionnaire. After getting responses from college students, we have even strengthened our determination and believe that this is a topic that urgently needs to be tackled. As for now, we are in the phase of doing even more research, doing preparation and writing the outline for the game we’re going to design. Our team had been established by the end of October. By then we clearly know that there isn’t much time for us, so from the first day, we have established a schedule for us to follow. End of October - 11/8 - Brainstorming ideas and deciding our topics During this time our team has brainstormed many very creative ideas during one of the meetings. After we all did some very slight research on each topic, during the meeting on 11/8, we decided our topics by voting. 11/8 - 11/16 - During this time, our team has all been assigned to a small topic and our task is to research it. 11/15-11/24 - This is the second week of intense research. At this time we also have put together the questionnaire. We used it to test college student’s knowledge level on social insurance systems and commercial insurance. At the same time we also have interviewed some experts in this field. 11/24-12/7 - During this time we’re planning to mainly focus on trying the script and outline for our game. - During this time we are also going to try to find a company or professional people to make this game for us, using the script and outline we have created. And to make sure this game can be finished before 12/28. 12/7-12/28 - These two weeks will be mainly focusing on checking the progress of making the game. and write part of our essay. 12/8- 1/20 - We’re going to do our test run during these two weeks, Fix minor errors, and register this game into the mobile system.
