Theseus wields spear-throwing, shield-parrying, charging slash attacks, grappling throws, and battle cries. Eleuthera excels in horseback archery, discus throws, axe strikes, horse charges, and tribal war dances.
Theseus bears his father’s black shield to symbolize the order of the city-state and carries on the tradition of Homeric epic heroes through javelin throws and spear slashes. Eleuthera’s mounted archery and horse charges recreate the deadly unity of horse and rider characteristic of the nomadic tribes, while her discus throws and war dances integrate competitive rituals and tribal ceremonies into each weapon movement, further emphasizing the meaning of “Freedom”.
Theseus can reliably land javelin throws or charging slash attacks only when his opponent is in the middle of executing a skill. Eleuthera must wait until her opponent lowers their shield before performing a discus throw or horse charge. Theseus’s grappling throw is effective only if the opponent has just released their discus; otherwise, it leaves him vulnerable to a counterattack. Similarly, Eleuthera’s horse charge must connect at the exact moment her foe hurls a spear, or it can be easily evaded.
At ranges beyond 15 meters, both combatants are limited to ranged throwing attacks. Between 5 and 15 meters, charges and mounted archery become high-yield options. Within 5 meters, grappling throws and axe slashes can unleash their full power. Among these tactics, spear-throwing and mounted archery deal high damage but consume limited ammunition; successful shield blocks and dodges generate resources, while failures expose critical openings; charges and horse charges deliver strong burst damage but are predictable; grappling throws and axe strikes can be instantly lethal yet carry extreme risk; and battle cries or war dances require full morale or “freedom” to activate, failure risks depleting all accumulated resources.
