It’s been over a quarter since submitting my Early Action application, and I’ve accomplished quite a bit during this time. First, my GPA has remained consistent since the first semester of 12th grade. I had and should have no decline in academic performance. Outside of school, my most notable achievement has been completing a research paper on Cybersecurity and Big Data Analytics with my BDA Teacher at school. The study addresses the question: “Does Machine Learning Anomaly Detection Reduce False Positives More Effectively Than Rule-Based Systems?” I submitted this paper to the 11th International Conference on Big Data Analytics 2026, and it has been accepted (Paper ID: BAI26-107-A). I will be traveling to Waseda University in Japan in April to present my research. I am excited that this will be the second time my paper has been accepted for publication and will be my first formal university presentation as well.
